| The last photo of 2024, taken on the evening of 31st December, is from Salisbury Station Car Park. Dave snapped the van as he thought it looked like an ex-LUL service vehicle, although the registration number did not match any known examples. However, I realised that an '06 plate on a Transit Custom could not be original, as the model was only introduced in 2012. A correspondent had recently told me about a car-checking website that also showed previous registrations (albeit with a limit on the number of free enquiries per day), and using this I found that JP06PAV had originally been LP14XFG, numbered 7829F in the LUL fleet from new in July 2014 until disposal just 3 years later in October 2017. |
