| The LUL office at Barking Station was reported to be affected by the closure of Wakering Road for a while in late 2024, meaning that vehicles could not access the small yard and hence had to be kept elsewhere. The yard was back in use by March 2025, as shown in this photo taken on the 10th. It would appear that the allocation of vehicles was also changed at the same time. It is still all Volkswagens, but some of the 87xxVW numbered examples seem to have been replaced by slightly younger 89xxVW vehicles. Visible here are VW Caddy Maxi Crew Vans 8904VW and 8907VW with (probably) VW Transporter Crew Van 8708VW behind. |
