| Text: | After being withdrawn with fire damage in April 1980, 27043 was used as a re-railing test loco at Eastfield depot. On 12th November 1985 it was disposed of by contractors. Due to asbestos content, it was wrapped in plastic and buried in a large pit in Bishopbriggs, Glasgow. |
