| One more view of the top car park at Acton Works on 18th January 2025, this time looking south-west towards Frank Pick House (which is on the other side of the LUL tracks). The line-up is dominated by LUL Ford Transit Mk8s but nearest the camera (and beside the 'picnic area'!) is VW Caddy Maxi crew van 8797VW, once based at Upminster depot. Beyond that is a Thrifty Ford Transit Custom van to the more angular, second-generation design. This was introduced in 2023 but has yet to be seen in any of the 'proper' service vehicle fleets. |
