| A pleasant surprise was to find something new at Eltham Bus Station on 28th January 2025 in the shape of a TfL Renault Kangoo van with fleetnumber 9444R. This differed in several respects from the other Kangoos delivered in December 2024. It was electric rather than diesel, a crew van to the longer length, and it featured a yellow 'safety' stripe on the sides and chevrons on the back. This is believed to be for use by TfL PCO (Public Carriage Office, overseeing taxi and minicab operations) and to be a belated replacement for Toyota Yaris car 8690T. Another PCO Yaris (8691T) was based at Wembley Park Station, so that might be a good place to look for more of these new vans. |
