| In early March I saw a new TfL Renault Kangoo electric crew van passing through Abbey Wood, though I could not tell if it was being used by London Buses or by the Elizabeth Line. The matter was settled when Dave visited the latter's Plumstead Depot on 20th March 2025 and found no fewer than 8 new vans present. He returned a week later (27th March) and took this photo of consecutively numbered 9454R and 9455R. They were in the main car park rather than in the van yard and, although this is also now fenced off from the main road, the mesh of the fence does allow cameras to see through. The new vans have replaced all but one of the VW Caddy Maxi crew vans that formed part of the initial Elizabeth Line fleet. |
