| Another TfL Renault Kangoo was found by Dave on the last day of March 2025, when he came across 9403R in the lower bus station at Hammersmith. It has chevrons on the back and a safety stripe on the sides and was in use by London Buses staff. What I thought was interesting about this was that the lettering on the rear includes 'Highway Maintenance'. This has been seen in the past on service vehicles (such as those operated by TfL Streets), but I think its use on LBSL vehicles is new. Looking at photos suggests that it might be being applied as standard to any vehicles that get rear chevrons, but (as with so many things) more observations are required. Note the curious passer-by! |
