| Due to its rather remote location, Metroline's Potters Bar garage needs quite a lot of crew ferry vehicles, and this photo shows a further three that were seen on 1st April 2025. Nearest the camera is Ford Puma car AV74ONT, new at the end of 2024. Beyond are a pair of Ford Transit Custom minibuses, AV72UCO and AY71JDZ. In the background are three different buses. On the left is OME2669, an Optare MetroDecker electric. All 28 of Metroline's MetroDeckers are based here, although they appear to have reliability issues, with a number off the road at any given time. In the middle is Enviro 400 TE903 dating from 2008 and now demoted to training work, with a lime green 'wrap' to advertise for driver recruitment. At the back is WDE2769, a Wrightbus StreetDeck Electroliner. This was the first WDE for Metroline and has been at Potters Bar since new in late 2022. Many more WDEs have been delivered since and, although none were ordered for PB routes, four further examples of the type are currently based here pending the completion of electrical infrastructure at other garages. |
