| A bit posher than most crew ferry cars is this Audi A4 Sport estate, photographed on 1st May 2025 at Bexleyheath Bus Stand. The location means this is almost certainly from Arriva London's Dartford Garage. Arriva's presence in this area is declining, with double-deck routes 99, 269 and 401 all lost to Go-Ahead London from 18th January 2025. Single-deck route B15 follows suit from January 2026, which will leave the 301 as the only Arriva route to terminate in Bexleyheath (the 229 and 492 pass through). Go-Ahead has a batch of Wright StreetDeck Electroliners on order for the routes won, but is using elderly E-class Enviro 400s and WVL-class Volvo B9TLs (like those in the background) until charging facilities are installed. Note that WVL458 on the 269 has an extended side advert, covering the first two windows behind the staircase panel. |
