A surprise find at Tufnell Park Depot on 1st April 2025 was 9460F, the first full-sized Ford Transit added to the central fleet since 2021. It had the new TfL livery of plain white but it also had yellow 'safety' stripes along the waist. We had expected some full-sized vans would be added in due course, though no more have been reported as of mid-June. Perhaps 9460F is a one-off, with specialised interior fit for its role with the power supply section. Also visible are Ford Transit van 8859F (which is a one-off) and Renault Kangoo Maxi van 8855R, while on the right was a trailer belonging to a provider of confined space training. This is likely to be a factor in the work of the power supply department, who may need to access underground cabling conduits and tunnels.
