| Transport UK has recently been making use of a large yard on the opposite side of Beddington Lane from their Beddington Cross garage. The company took over TfL bus route 119 on 22nd August, and is taking delivery of a large batch of Wrightbus StreetDeck Electroliner buses for it and other routes. Some of these can be seen in the background of this photo taken on 5th September 2026. Also present were three Citroen Dispatch vans that had latterly been used for engineering support from Battersea (QB) garage. It is possible that these have been replaced by newer vehicles and were in storage here pending disposal, but more reports would be welcomed. LG19DJE (fleet number 6903) and LG19BFV (6902, out of view on the left) had green side stripes while MJ17LKK (6906) on the left had orange ones. Note that a large segment of the Transport UK logo has been applied to the side and rear of at least MJ17LKK. It is barely discernible and is perhaps reflective. |
